It was quite amazing to see the rate at which the reeds grew at the hide since our work party in December and accessing the hide was becoming very difficult.
A quick work-party was organised and Graham, Keith & Mike plus Giorgio Lombardi did a sterling job clearing the path & fixing the hide’s steps. Many thanks to all, especially Giorgio for lending us his brush-cutters and helping us this morning. Barbara ran the ‘field kitchen’, supplying coffee & eats.
The hide is now accessible and ready for Easter weekend visitors, although the logs are still a bit wobbly and care should be taken.
