It has been a good year for Hermanus Bird Club, with membership at an all-time high and great attendences of events.
The West Coast National Park outing attracted 39 people – so many that they had to be split into two groups. For the morning walk on Jessie and Ian Walton’s bird-friendly farm in the Elgin Valley, 38 turned up.
Luke and Machteld Horsten’s presentation Birder’s eye view of Zambia and surrounds by was heard and seen by 86 people and Ronnie and Renée Hazell’s B is for . . . by 82.
The calender year will end with the get-together on Wednesday 9 December. And more is in stall before the Club year ends with the annual general meeting in February 2016.
